I believe that every behavior has a purpose even if that purpose is not obvious. With the help of my clients, I work to understand the function of the behavior and then help my clients to acquire the necessary skills to have their needs met more appropriately.

I have been providing parenting support for the past 10 years. The role of parent, is arguably one of the most difficult roles that someone can have in their lives. It can feel overwhelming and difficult to identify where to start. I worked with clients to understand the goals that they have as parents and then identify what is currently inhibiting them from reaching those goals. By understanding where the client currently is, and where they want to be, we can identify steps to take to help them achieve their goals. I help clients to process any trauma or experiences from their own childhood that is playing a role in how they parents their own children.
I have been providing support in the area of social skills for the past 10 years. I understand that sometimes understanding social cues, social norms, and/or how to engage appropriately socially can be a difficult concept to implement within your life. I work with clients to first understand their worldview regarding how they view social situations and work with them to utilize interventions to help them reach the goals that they would like socially.
I have been working with individuals with executive functioning difficulties for the past 10 years.
